MARKHAM, Ontario, Canada — An agreement has been reached between the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) and Sheridan College of Brampton, Ontario, which will allow the college to offer the Level 1 and Level 2 Alarm Technician courses.
The topics for the Level 1 course include input devices, detection systems installation tips, control devices and panel functionality. The Level 2 course is more advanced and includes topics like multiplex systems, radio basics and system troubleshooting.
