AlarmForce Industries Inc. is making a move to grab a piece of the growing personal emergency response system (PERS) market with release of a new product line, AlarmCare.
The Toronto-based company is Canada’s largest manufacturer and installer of two-way voice home alarm systems and line-cut protection. Its new PERS equipment is designed to offer 24/7 response in the event of an emergency for elderly people who live alone and others individuals who are susceptible to falling down or have health concerns.
“Fuelled by an influx of baby boomers, Canadians and Americans approaching retirement are one of the fastest growing demographics in North America,” says AlarmForce President and CEO Joel Matlin. “Anyone who may need help in the event of an emergency will benefit from AlarmCare.”
