The Canadian Security Association (CANASA) announces that Peter Gamham, owner of PG Security Associates of Brampton, Ontario, is the recipient of the 2006 R.A. Henderson Award.
The award was presented to Gamham by Ivan Spector, past CANASA president and former R.A. Henderson award winner.
“Peter has been an outstanding contributor to this industry,” says Spector. “I am delighted to have the privilege to present this award to a very deserving individual and colleague.”
The first R.A. Henderson Award was presented in 1982. The Award recognizes an association member who can demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the Canadian security industry and the overall growth of the CANASA organization. Each year nominations come by way of CANASA chapter boards across Canada.
Garnham began his career in 1974 with ADT and later joined C&K to start up one of the most successful manufacturing/distribution operations in Canada. He subsequently identified a need in the market to provide representation for foreign-based suppliers, at which time he formed his own company, PG Security Associates.
