Caught on CCTV: Firefighter Takes Down Armed Robber at Texas Gas Station
Video surveillance has emerged of an off-duty Texas firefighter stopping an armed man from robbing a Texas gas station.

MIDLOTHIAN, Texas – A security camera at a Texas-based Exxon gas station captured an off-duty firefighter taking down a would-be armed robber.
The video footage shows 19-year-old Dylan Bearden entering the store and pushing the firefighter, Daniel Gaskey, who is also an ex-Marine, aside. Bearden then pulls out a knife and demanded money, WJLA.com reports.
The surveillance footage shows Gaskey grabbing Bearden from behind, secured the knife hand and threw him to the floor.
The off-duty firefighter held Bearden down until police arrived.
