CCTV Cameras Capture Abduction of Woman at Shopping Mall

CORONA, Calif.

A video surveillance system videotaped what appears to be the kidnapping of a woman in the parking lot of a shopping mall, though police are unclear of the identity of the woman or her abductors. In the video taken Nov. 7 from the Corona Discount Mall in Corona, Calif. – located 40 miles east of Los Angeles – a woman is being chased through a parking structure by two men, then grabbed and stuffed into the trunk of a car that speeds off. Bystanders are seen in the video but did not take any action.

According to Los Angeles television station KNBC, Corona police haven’t received any missing person reports and can’t identify the woman, though they say he actions suggest she knew her abductors. Detectives are attempting to enhance the CCTV tape to try to identify the woman and her possible abductors.
