industry financial advisor Mallon Associates, has named
Andrew Berger as a senior managing director.
Berger will head investment banking, asset management and
private client services for the firm. Berger, in a
statement, noted Unterberg’s joint venture with Mallon
Associates as an expansion of Unterberg’s technology
focus. “Our core business is providing investment banking
services to sub $500 million market cap companies in our
target areas, primarily technology, healthcare and
security/crime control,” Berger said.
Prior to joining Unterberg, the Columbia Law School
graduate served in several management positions at Union
Bancaire Privee, a Swiss private bank with offices
worldwide. From 1994 to 1998, he was managing director in
Europe and the Middle East for Lehman Brothers
International.
