An investment bank focused on growing companies in the global security industry has announced the appointment of a new senior research analyst.
Scott Greiper will head C.E. Unterberg, Towbin’s Homeland Security, antiterrorism and crime prevention sectors.
Before joining the investment bank, Greiper served as director of technology research at independent research firm Crystal Research Associates. He also worked at Drexel Burnham and S.G. Warburg as a senior technology analyst.
Greiper holds a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University and an economics bachelor’s of arts degree from the University of Chicago.
In November 2003, Unterberg, Towbin teamed with principals of the Mallon Group to provide investment banking for the $150 billion global security/crime control/antiterrorism industry.
Jack Mallon leads the Mallon unit at Unterberg and publishes the quarterly Mallon’s Security Report.
