Centerpost Corp. announces that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Monitoring Automation Systems (MAS), a developer of commercial and residential security monitoring software, to develop messaging services for the security monitoring industry and pilot Centerpost’s SmartDelivery service. Centerpost’s service will allow MAS corporate clients, including commercial and home security systems providers, to alert their customers on all types of wired and wireless devices, including cell phones, pagers, PDAs, E-mail boxes, fax machines and telephones. Security companies using MAS systems, including ADT and SecurityLink, process more than 70 percent of commercially monitored burglar and fire alarms in the United States. During the past 5 years, MAS has installed 90 percent of the world’s large security alarm processing systems.
“We are very excited about working with Monitoring Automation Systems and are confident that our service will add great value to the existing product offerings of MAS,” says Juergen Stark, chairman and CEO of Centerpost. “The messaging needs of the security monitoring industry make it a perfect market for the SmartDelivery service. By partnering with the preeminent software provider in the industry, we are taking a giant step forward in serving this market.”
