Gamewell-FCI of Northford, Conn., a Honeywell Fire Systems company, releases the FocalPoint central monitoring solution for campus-style use in facilities that employ multiple Gamewell-FCI fire alarm control panels. FocalPoint is designed to integrate information from multiple panels in such a manner that end users can access detailed diagrams and other information.
The system will display the affected area and an incident report when smoke detectors or other fire detection devices indicate trouble. This enables the end user and service technician to quickly determine the source of a trouble condition. This same procedure is used when indicating the location and nature of a fire alarm activation, making it easier and faster for firefighters to find the source of the problem.
