Central Sprinkler Enhances Its Free Replacement Program

Published: June 30, 2003

Central Sprinkler Co.‘s free fire sprinkler replacement program will be enhanced to give building owners more choices when they participate. This is part of the company’s settlement agreement with the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), which helped launch the program in July 2001.

Central’s Voluntary Replacement Program provides free removal and replacement of certain models of fire sprinklers that contain O-ring seals. Building owners in the program will receive free Belleville seal replacement sprinklers, a model that does not contain O-ring seals.
