Two alarm monitoring companies are teaming up with the manufacturer of IP-based alarm solutions to provide IP-based monitoring services to their customers. Authorized dealers of Miami’s Central Alarm Control (CAC) and Lavey, Wash.‘s Alarm Center Inc. will be able to provide alarm monitoring services to their customers capable of using the Internet or voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) after the partnership with UHS Systems.

The systems offered by CAC and Alarm Center are capable of including video verification and have wireless backup.

“We want to give all of our customers the same high level of service, regardless of whether they use a traditional phone line or a VoIP connection,” says CAC President Russ Jones Sr.

UHS announced last August that it was working with AT&T to provide more IP-based solutions to alarm companies.
