Central Security Group Acquires Allied Protective Systems
CSG takes on an additional 6,000 customers in Oklahoma under its Guardian Security Systems brand.
TULSA, OKLA. – Central Security Group (CSG) has acquired Allied Protective Systems, based in Oklahoma City, adding roughly 6,000 customers under its Guardian Security Systems brand. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“For more than 30 years, the Allied team has operated a successful and respected business, which is an ideal fit within our branch operations,” says CSG President and CEO Richard Ginsburg, a member of the SSI Industry Hall of Fame. “We are thrilled to welcome both their customers and employees to our company, expanding our service capabilities and market access in the state where we are headquartered. We are also pleased to make available additional service offerings to these customers, through our full line of interactive security and home automation options.”

When time came to choose a purchaser for his company, Allied Protective Systems President Johnnie Fletcher explains he selected CSG based on its reputation and a desire to ensure his employees and customers would continue to receive top-notch support.
“It was a difficult choice to make to sell my company, but after 50 years in the alarm industry, I felt it was time to retire,” Fletcher says.
The transaction follows recent deals by CSG to acquire g two Texas companies during the past three months. Among CSG’s assets are a dealer program; a monitoring and customer care center in Tulsa; a branch network; and customers in 17 states. Its core services include interactive security, home automation, video monitoring and energy management.

Vertex Capital was the sole advisor to CSG on the Allied Protective Systems deal.
