Cernium Corp. earned Frost & Sullivan’s 2008 North American Emerging Company of the Year honor for its efforts in developing and promoting real-time, content analytics-enabled video surveillance products.

“Cernium has captured significant brand awareness and market share in the fast growing market for video analytics,” says Frost & Sullivan Security Analyst Dilip Sarangan. “It has garnered recognition from various competitors, partners and end-users as having the top-performing video analytics engine available, significantly increasing its revenues in the past three years.”

Cernium’s flagship Perceptrak® video alert and incident management system has nearly tripled annual sales since 2005, and is now the company’s leading product.

In 2007, the company introduced its P-Core™ Analytics Engine with its increasing use in non-security applications. P-Core is a set of algorithms that sit at the base of all Cernium products and make the analytics engine available for multiple platforms.
