The Chamberlain Group Inc. has added to its access control
portfolio by acquiring electric gate manufacturer DC
Solutions Inc. The Sunrise, Fla., company manufactures
slide and swing electric gates and barrier gates. Terms of
the deal were not disclosed.
Chamberlain CEO J. David Rolls says the acquisition expands
the company’s offerings of perimeter gate systems that can
be integrated with access control.
“The combination of these two companies is a move that will
give professional dealers a greater product selection from
Chamberlain,” Rolls said in a statement.
