The Chamberlain Group Inc. has formed a new division, Chamberlain Access Solutions, which combines the recently-acquired Digitech Int’l Inc. and PTI Integrated Systems, along with Chamberlain’s Telephone Entry Systems group.
The Chamberlain Group manufactures and markets access control products such as residential garage door openers, commercial door operators, residential and commercial gate operators, telephone entry systems and related products.
David Mack, who served as general manager of PTI Integrated Systems, will lead the new division.
“Acquiring both Digitech and PTI Integrated Systems initially demonstrated Chamberlain’s commitment to establishing a stronger presence in vertical markets,” says Chamberlain CEO J. David Rolls. “Now, under the leadership of David Mack, Chamberlain Access Solutions simultaneously combines these top-of-the-line resources and product offerings to provide customers with a comprehensive product line, expanded service and support while strengthening our position as the leading access control provider to residential and commercial markets.”
The current access solution product lines, as well as existing Digitech and PTI branded products, will be offered through Chamberlain Access Solutions, along with other Chamberlain product brands. The Chamberlain Professional Products group will continue to market and sell telephone entry systems as they have in the past, while benefiting from the availability and access to Digitech and PTI products offerings.
