The Chamberlain Group Inc. announces the acquisition of Digitech Int’l of Asheville, N.C., as part of the company’s move toward the integrated access control industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Digitech is a developer of access control and security systems for the worldwide self-storage industry. Its products include automatic gates and keypads, video surveillance and recording systems, door alarms, site graphics and onsite communications systems.
“Digitech’s security products, talented employees and customer base complemented Chamberlain’s business and enhance our ability to deliver compelling integrated access control solutions,” says Chamberlain CEO J. David Rolls. “This acquisition strengthens Chamberlain as the leading access control provider to residential and commercial markets.”
