CHECKPOINT STRENGTHENS ITS FORCES IN FLORIDA WITH 4 NEW SECURITY COMPANY ACQUISITIONS

As part of a fast-growth acquisition strategy, Checkpoint Ltd., a full-service security and monitoring firm, has purchased four Florida security firms. They are: Circle Security Systems Inc. of South Miami; Gulf Coast Security & Sound L.C. of Oldsmar; Alarm-Trac Security Systems Inc. of Palm Harbor; and Serv-All Systems Inc. of Plantation. The acquisitions add a total of 3,174 new accounts to Checkpoint, which has obtained nearly 40 security operations during the past four years.

“Our security and monitoring systems are now serving customers on both coasts and in central Florida,” says Michael J. Buckhart, executive vice president of Checkpoint. The company, which was established in 1969, provides continuous security and fire monitoring, automated systems, CCTV, central vacuum, heat and moisture sensors, and dual monitoring systems for gated communities.
