Cisco Systems Tech Guru Jim Grubb to Keynote TMA Technology Summit

VIENNA, Va. — Jim Grubb carries a weighty title at Cisco Systems … chief technology evangelist. Attendees to The Monitoring Association’s 2019 TMA Technology Summit will get to hear him deliver a keynote address Feb. 28 as part of the second annual event’s educational agenda.

Grubb is a visionary Cisco leader who is passionate about early positioning and differentiation of innovation and technology. Instrumental in bringing new solutions to life, he ensures that Cisco is delivering products, solutions and services that enable their customers to accelerate their journey toward digital transformation.

His TMA Technology Summit presentation is titled, “The Future of Networking in the Modern Data Center.”

He is an exponential thinker and charismatic speaker working with most of Cisco’s largest customers as they build their digital strategies.

Grubb served as the longtime product-demo sidekick of John Chambers, the former executive chairman and CEO of Cisco Systems. He delivered over 400 keynote demonstrations at industry, technology and CXO events, including Cisco Live, CES, HIMSS, NRF, Oracle World, Salesforce, DODIS, Cisco Partner Summit and Cisco’s global sales meetings.

Grubb has also presented to many government and world leaders, including Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush, Tony Blair, Madeleine Albright, Dimitry Medvedev, Al Gore, Viktor Chernomyrdin, Vicente Fox, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean Carnahan and Jim Gilmore.

The TMA Technology Summit will be held Feb. 27-28 in Salt Lake City. The event offers security industry professionals a combination of education sessions and network-building opportunities. All attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and ask detailed questions in an interactive environment, geared specifically for IT professionals in the monitoring center.
