COGNIGEN NETWORKS ENTERS HOME SECURITY MARKET

SEATTLE

Cognigen Networks Inc., an applications service provider and Internet marketer of telecommunications, has added home security systems to its line of products and services. The company selected Protect America Inc., a Round Rock, Texas-based provider of home security technology and service, to become its first home security vendor.

“We believe that home security is a very popular, high demand service that adds to our ever-widening array of personal technology services,” says Darrell Hughes, chairman, president and CEO of Cognigen. “With the addition of Protect America’s wireless Peacekeeper(r), Cognigen is entering the residential and business intrusion alarm marketplace.”

He adds that, through Protect America, the company will have an immediate and positive impact on its agents’ ability to meet the needs of the public, the source of its revenue and its growth. Orders for the home security systems through the Cognigen Web site will be taken directly by Protect America, which will also provide 24-hour monitoring and customer service.

Cognigen and its vendors have sold products to approximately 400,000 customer accounts worldwide through a network of about 94,000 independent agents.
