The city of Cohasset, Mass., is increasing its citywide monitoring and security infrastructure with a network video surveillance system powered by Videolarm IP Ready equipment, AXIS cameras and Volpe Industries’ DETEXI video management software.
Volpe Industries designed the city’s camera network to meet the monitoring needs of four public schools and the municipal water treatment plant.
Volpe installed a combination of Videolarm IP Ready outdoor environmental fixed dome housings and outdoor fusion dome enclosures combined with a variety of AXIS IP cameras at the Cohasset Water Treatment Plant. The same hardware was deployed throughout the town at several remote locations.
“The quality of Videolarm’s camera and equipment was an important part of completing this custom build solution,” says Volpe Industries President and CEO Christopher Volpe. “In today’s security industry, organizations must be innovative, quick to market and have the ability to provide, implement and support state of the art technology software because failure is not an option when it comes to surveillance for your own vested business.”
All the surveillance systems that were deployed are fully scalable and expandable to accommodate the city’s monitoring needs.
