Wire and cable manufacturer Coleman Cable Inc. has expanded with its purchase of the Royal® portable cord product line from Essex Electric Inc. As part of the agreement, Coleman will manufacture portable cord for Essex under the Essex brand name.
Gary Yetman, Coleman president and CEO, says the Royal SO cord products will provide a nice complement to Coleman’s SEO Seoprene® cords. “Together, [they] provide the industry with one source for any and all portable cord applications with products tailored to the specific application,” Yetman said in a statement.
