ComNet of Danbury, Conn., introduces the CWGE2FE24MODMS, a 26-port modular gigabit Ethernet switch.
Offering two 1,000FX or TX uplink ports, the switch accommodates three eight-port 100FX or 100TX modules. The product also features X-Ring technology, which provides a redundant network path in case of a failure on the network.
The switch offers benefits such as Internet group management protocol (IGMP), port-based VLAN tagging, MAC address filtering, spanning tree (STP) and rapid spanning tree protocol (RSTP).
