Published: October 5, 2003

Applied DNA Sciences, Inc. of Los Angeles has signed an agreement for San Clemente, Calif.-based Pach and Co. to distributive its DNA-embedded security access systems in North America.

The value added reseller (VAR) agreement with Pach is for Applied DNA’s anti-counterfeit Applied DNA™ Security Access System, which is comprised of the Applied DNA™ chip and Applied DNA’s access control chip reader. Combinations of plant DNA are embedded into a non-silicon based microchip using a proprietary technique.

Credit card type media is used with a slot reader or contact point system for authentication. The equipment can be retrofitted to an existing system.
