In doing its part in response to the events of Sept. 11, ShatterGARD Inc. has announced that a portion of the proceeds from its BlastGARD window protection film product will be donated to various relief funds. The company is also rallying security professionals and others in related industries to match its donations.
Starting in September, ShatterGARD began donating $1 for every square foot installed of its glass fragmentation retention film. The donation is slated to continue through the end of 2001.
Because each installation job is determined by the square footage, company officials expect a substantial total.
