Connected Hearth, a connectivity partner of Home Automation
Inc. (HAI), announced its new Connected Hearth
Installation Partner (CHIP) program, which enables security
and alarm, home automation, audio and video and other home
technology installers to earn monthly recurring revenue.
CHIP members receive a third of the monthly subscription
fee customers pay to Connected Hearth, which allows members
to logon to www.connectedhearth.com and view and control
home functions.
The password-protected Web site monitors for emergency
conditions like unauthorized entry, fire, water leaks and
low temperature. The site notifies the homeowner
immediately by telephone, E-mail, text message or page.
