Connected Technologies’ Connect ONE Offers New Pricing for Cloud Management Service

MONUMENT, Colo.—Connect ONE from Connected Technologies LLC has introduced a one-time base price with no recurring monthly fees for its ESSENTIAL service level, providing “a simple and affordable pathway to cloud system management” for small commercial and residential clients.

Connect ONE’s ESSENTIAL Service for up to five users includes these capabilities, all for a nominal start-up fee and without monthly charges:

  • Desktop and mobile apps;
  • Emergency Response Platform for first responders;
  • Technician SmartTest;
  • Detailed reporting and management of users/codes/system settings;
  • Instant notifications; pop-up alerts; and
  • GeoView System Mapping to Google Maps

In addition, security and access control system users have access to real-time event viewing; arming and disarming/zone status/bypass; door locking/unlocking/lockdown; device output control; and live video and playback with compatible NVR.

For those who wish to add services or upgrade to more capabilities, such as door access reporting or non-alarm zone status logging, additional charges and a recurring monthly fee would apply.

The pricing structure is “designed to give integrators additional project possibilities and the flexibility to introduce smaller customers to the cloud system without recurring monthly charges,” according to the Connected Technologies announcement.

With ESSENTIAL service, users have access to “a robust cloud-managed platform that serves their needs today and grows as future requirements change – without having to reprogram systems and retrain technicians or end users,” the announcement says.

For example, if they require additional reporting requirements or unlimited users, they can step up into one of the next service levels, where a monthly recurring charge would apply. Connect ONE’s three service levels include ESSENTIAL, ESSENTIAL+ and PRO.

“This new fee structure will help get more customers comfortable with Connect ONE, with the ability to expand the basic service into additional capabilities,” says Dan Simon, managing partner of Connected Technologies, in the company announcement. “Security integrators can compete with some of the free apps on the market and can change the application as necessary.”

The Connect ONE hosted solution brings cloud control through a single management interface and gives systems integrators and their customers the ability to adapt to new security and safety requirements by selecting from a wide range of services deployed through the browser-based platform.
