Convergint Technologies Acquires Total Recall Corp.

Total Recall specializes in large-scale citywide video surveillance solutions.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Convergint Technologies announced today the acquisition of Total Recall Corp, a video-centric security technology provider specializing in surveillance solutions, including command and control centers, wireless connectivity, and video network design and management. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1985, Suffern, N.Y.-based Total Recall counts among its clientele federal and municipal governments, businesses and other organizations. The company brings Convergint a rich expertise in building sustainable, large-scale systems operating under the harshest urban conditions, says Dan Moceri, executive chairman and co-founder, Convergint Technologies.

“Total Recall extends Convergint’s capabilities in supporting highly sophisticated citywide networks, and we are thrilled to have their team of experts to join Convergint Nation,” he says.

The addition of Total Recall’s highly skilled workforce and experience with complex metropolitan environments allows Convergint to build and support custom solutions with open networking standards that provide fast, scalable installation and cost-effective maintenance, according to a press release.

Total Recall is the sixth acquisition that Convergint has completed since January of 2015, three of which have deepened its capabilities domestically, and three that have expanded its global footprint.
