COPS Monitoring to Support Paradox, Control4

Published: January 28, 2014

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. — COPS Monitoring is now offering IP, GSM, and GPRS monitoring for the full line of security and integrated access control products and support for interactive services from Paradox. The Paradox EVO 192 panel is fully supported by Control4.

“We continually look for ways to support our dealer base by offering leading edge technology and we are pleased to add the Paradox IP receivers to our portfolio of services,” says Jim McMullen, president and COO of COPS Monitoring. “For backup and added reliability, dual Paradox IPR512 receivers have been deployed in our New Jersey and Texas central stations on different IP addresses. Both receivers are online and ready to receive live alarm traffic. As an added benefit, we are also pleased to announce that our dealers will enjoy discounted pricing on Paradox equipment through our exclusive relationship with the SS&Si Dealer Network.”

“Our technology, ease of installation, advanced software, sleek design, and end user interface really set us apart from competitors who offer systems at a much higher price,” says Jon Butler, vice president of sales for Paradox’s U.S. master distributor. “For instance, not only does our EVO 192 panel integrate security and access control, it is also fully supported by the Control4 automation platform. Our online access and iParadox app offer full remote administration and give users the ability to do everything from controlling their systems to adding and removing panel users right from their computer, tablet, or smartphone. Currently, nobody else offers that functionality from tablet or smartphone app.”

“The U.S., by far is our smallest market. However, through strong relationships like the one we have with COPS Monitoring and the SS&Si Dealer Network, we’re eager to show the US market what the rest of the world has known for the past 25 years,” adds Butler.
