COPS Monitoring Names Director of Marketing & Communications

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. — Wholesale monitoring services provider COPS Monitoring has appointed Meg A. Watt as director of marketing & communications, according to a company announcement.

Watt joins COPS Monitoring with “an extensive background in brand leadership, strategic communications, digital marketing, content development and organizational growth initiatives across the security, technology, association and agency sectors,” the joint announcement says. She is “widely recognized for building modern marketing functions that strengthen visibility, elevate customer engagement and support long-term business growth.”

Most recently, Watt served as vice president of Marketing for AlarMax Distributors, where she led “a significant expansion of the company’s marketing and e-commerce initiatives,” according to the COPS Monitoring announcement.

During her tenure, she helped modernize the organization’s brand presence, launch integrated digital strategies, expand customer engagement efforts and support the continued growth of the company’s national footprint within the security industry, the announcement says.

“Her experience working closely with dealers, integrators, manufacturers and channel partners provides her with a strong understanding of the evolving needs of the professional security market and the importance of relationship-driven communication strategies,” according to the company announcement.

She “will work closely with leadership to continue strengthening the COPS brand while supporting the company’s commitment to service, partnership and innovation throughout the dealer community,” the announcement says.
