CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CPI Security Systems is expanding its corporate headquarters here and plans to hire an additional 300 employees over the next two years. The systems integrator is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony today (Aug. 7) for the new 120,000-square-foot facility, which will be constructed next to its headquarters here, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.
The new building will house training facilities, research and development and the company’s central station, which monitors alarm events. The company also plans to build a fitness center, a dining facility and other amenities.
“The expansion is part of CPI’s continued dedication to superior customer experience,” CEO Ken Gill told the newspaper. “We are positioning our business to ensure we are on the forefront of security and connected home technology. The consistent advancements in technology and growth in professional associates will position CPI to continue to be an industry leader in alarm response and video verification.”
