Police in Salt Lake City are looking for those responsible for a string of incidents where businesses’ phone lines are being cut to keep them from communicating with their alarm companies.

Television station KSL reports a total of 21 banks and businesses have been hit – some in broad daylight – and police think it may be the work of thieves trying to break in. One retail store has been hit four times in the past two months.
