For the second-straight year, the Central Station Alarm
Association’s (CSAA) annual expo will have a new name when
it takes place in Savannah, Ga., next May. Known as the
North American Security Symposium and Exposition (NASS EX)
when it took place in
Montreal from May 12-15, the event will now be known as
the CSAA Electronic Security Forum and Expo.
The CSAA TARGET=’_blank’> announced a year ago that it was
renaming the North American Monitoring Technology Symposium
and Exhibition (NAMTSE) with the NASS EX moniker.
In a release, CSAA admits the name changes may cause some
confusion, but says it has been continuing to try to find
an identity that would “reflect the evolving educational
and networking nature of the meeting.”
The 2006 CSAA Expo will take place from next May 17 to 21
at Savannah’s Hyatt Regency Hotel.
