The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has awarded Stan Oppenheim, president of DGA Security Systems Inc., with the 2008 CSAA President’s Award.
The honor was presented recently during CSAA’s 2008 annual meeting.
“Stan is an outstanding CSAA member, always willing to do everything that it takes to get the job done,” says Bud Wulfurst, president of CSAA. “Stan, utilizing his own staff and at his own expense, has done design and graphics; printing; chairs committees; supplies the t-shirts for the annual meeting and a host of other tasks. In short, Stan is a great asset for the CSAA.”
Oppenheim is active in many industry associations, including National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), ASIS Int’l, the Jewelers Security Alliance and the Metropolitan Burglar Alarm Association of New York (MBAANY). He has served on the UL Industry Advisory Conference for Burglary Protection Systems since 1985. Oppenheim is also president of Affiliated Central Inc., a UL-Listed monitoring service provider and center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
