CSAA Seeks Input From Industry on Analog Service

VIENNA, Va.

The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) is gathering
information on the impact of the initiative that says
cellular carriers are no longer required to provide analog
(AMPS) service after Feb. 18, 2008.

The organization believes this initiative could have an adverse effect on thousands of alarm customers who have this type of system on their property, and will collect as much information as possible supporting their position to present to the FCC.

Industry members interested in contributing their input can complete the survey available at www.csaaul.org/2005AICCAMPSTransitionSurvey.doc, and send it to CSAA offices by Jan. 20.
