MISSISSAUGA, Ontario—Camden Door Controls has relaunched its CV-7600 card readers.
According to the Canadian company, the reintroduction of the product is in response to growing market demand for a more secure alternative to standard proximity credentials that can be easily cloned. Camden states the newly reintroduced CV-7600 readers support MIFARE DESFire EV1 & EV2 encryption technology credentials, which makes the products virtually clone-proof and highly secure.
The Camden Door Controls‘ CV-7600 mobile-ready readers combine Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and contactless smart card technologies, and the card readers can be used with any access control systems with either Wiegand or bi-directional OSDP.
Some of the other features the new CV-7600 card readers offer include an easily downloaded app instantly that turns any Android or Apple iOS smartphone into a user’s mobile access credential, all without a subscription fee.
Camden Door Controls adds that its new CV-7600 readers also incorporate a field configurable reception range from one to 30 feet, and the products are backed by the company’s no-hassle three-year warranty.
