Not only did respondents rate their knowledge higher, but more are also interested in expanding that knowledge as the average rating rose from 7.75 to 7.92.
Respondents are significantly more concerned about customer impact, as the average rating jumped from 7.75 to 8.25.
In line with being more concerned about potential impact is the fact that those being aware of breaches spiked by 7 percentage points.
The average concern of products/systems a respondent’s company sells/designs/installs being compromised by customers’ breaches hit an all-time high of 7.30 (7.02 in 2016).
