AXCESS Inc., a provider of asset management products and solutions, announces Cypress Computer Systems (CCS) has signed an agreement to distribute the company’s ActiveTag(tm) line to the CCS customer base of Fortune 500 companies. CCS will begin the initial installation of these products at Ford Motor Corp. later this month. The implementation of ActiveTag products will enable Cypress’ customers to coordinate asset management and fueling activity, completely hands-free.
“The ActiveTag technology enables us to more vigorously attack the asset management market,” says Tony Diodato, president and CEO of CCS. “The innovative technology of AXCESS’ RFID products enhances the flexibility of Cypress’ control system products, while reducing the hardware requirements.” CCS is a Michigan-based corporation, founded in 1983 with the goal of designing and manufacturing a line of access control and security products.
