Dedicated Micros Announces Change of Leadership
CHANTILLY, Va.
Dedicated Micros, a wholly owned subsidiary of the AD Group, has repositioned President and CEO Alan E. Calegari to a new role as nonexecutive chairman. Calegari recently joined Pittsburgh-based Union Switch & Signal, a manufacturer of signaling, automation and control systems, as its new president and CEO.
“We are very grateful to Dr. Calegari for his significant contribution to Dedicated Micros,” says Nigel Petrie, AD Group chairman. “In this new role he will continue to provide strategic support to the Dedicated Micros executive team in the Americas.”
Mark Provinsal assumes the role of executive vice president and leader of the Dedicated Micro’s executive team in addition to his role as vice president of strategic marketing and product strategy. Provinsal provides the leadership and point of contact for all executive matters until a new president and CEO is appointed.
“Dedicated Micros is very grateful to Calegari for the leadership he has provided us, and in his new role as non-executive chairman he will continue to guide the strategy of the company,” Provinsal tells SSI. “I am very enthusiastic about the technology that Dedicated Micros offers and I do not anticipate any disruptions to our position as a market leader in video surveillance solutions.”
