Dedicated Micros is collaborating with mobiDEOS, a privately held mobile technology company based in Sunnyvale, Calif., to deliver video surveillance footage to cell phones.
The mobiDEOS MobileIPCamViewer will allow customers to watch and control cameras connected to Dedicated Micros’ DVRs via their cell phones.
“The Dedicated Micros/mobiDEOS integration provides end users with another tool to access video surveillance anytime, anywhere,” says Mark Provinsal, vice president of marketing and product strategy for Dedicated Micros.
The mobile surveillance technology has already been integrated with major cell phone manufacturers such as Motorola, Nokia, BlackBerry (RIM), Sony-Ericsson, Sanyo, LG, Samsung, and HTC. The service is available from the following carriers: Cingular, Verizon (Blackberry), Sprint/Nextel and Alltel (Blackberry).
