Building on the 30 years of products and services established by Detection System and Radionics, both companies will unite under the name of Bosch and will be within the Bosch Security Systems worldwide organization.
“By proactively supporting the business activities of its customers, Bosch Security Systems will provide a higher level of service to customers and security installation companies, helping to grow their business while providing the solutions their customers require,” say DS officials.
Part of the change also includes launching the Bosch Certified Security Dealer program. Participants from this program will receive customer service, technical support, training and more. Bosch Security Systems also plans to establish a Dealer Advisory Board. The panel is expected to offer insight into ways on how the company can better meet the needs of its customers as well as end users.
The newly formed company made its official debut at the Sept. 10-12 American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) show in Philadelphia.
