Diamond Communications Inc. (DCI) has acquired access control and security product provider Security Solutions. The terms for the purchase of all assets of the San Jose-based company were undisclosed.
DCI, based in Madera, Calif., provides business, government and residential customers in Northern California with communications solutions that include telephone, voice mail and data cabling services along with security and access control. Mike Tarin, president and CEO of DCI, sees the purchase as strengthening its position to provide security services to the San Francisco Bay area.
“With this acquisition, we are expanding our capabilities for a stronger and more immediate coverage of the greater Bay Area where we have experienced strong demand for our products and services,” Tarin said in a statement. As part of the acquisition, Security Solutions is changing its name to Diamond Security Solutions Inc.
