Diebold and Telular Come Together to Protect Customers
VERNON HILLS, Ill.
Diebold, Inc. has announced it will install Telular Corp.‘s Telguard® security products for cellular security alarm backup in financial, retail and commercial markets across the nation. Diebold says many top commercial banks and federal credit unions will benefit from the Telguard Classic and DataBurst products.
Besides providing a backup system for voice, fax and data transmission, Telguard products will provide a reliable path for alarm signals to keep customers fully protected, Diebold says.
Vince Lupe, director of the Electronic Security Group for Diebold stated, “We take pride in being a single-source supplier for all of our customers’ electronic security needs, so it’s imperative we offer a security backup solution like that of Telular.” Ken Millard, president and CEO of Telular added, “The ability to communicate and send alarms is critically important and needs to be protected, especially for financial institutions.”
