Diebold Event Monitoring Announces Enhanced Alarm Verification
NORTH CANTON, Ohio
Diebold Inc. – global provider of integrated self-service delivery systems, security and service – announced implementation of new procedures to eliminate the number of false alarms associated with burglary signals handled by its Event Monitoring Center (EMC).
Diebold says its enhanced alarm verification system utilizes a series of checks to determine the validity of an alarm signal. These checks can be phone calls to predetermined contacts, cross zoning, audio or visual on-site monitoring or a combination of methods.
