INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Video and data software development company Digiop will integrate the infinias Intelli-M Access 2.3 access control system with Digiop Elements video and data management solutions.
With the system, users can search for access control events, such as card swipes and then view the related video to examine the activity.
“Our strategy best serves the needs of the end user,” infinias President Wayne Jared says. “By pushing access control data to the primary system for monitoring and managing video, we can help them.”
The integration leverages “push”-based architecture and a powerful rules engine, according to a press release. The advanced capabilities allow a user to build highly tailored access control features. Additionally, end users can define events within the Intelli-M system. Once defined, users can then manage both access control data and video intelligence simultaneously from a single interface.
“The integration of access control with our video intelligence platform lets users extend the value of their video far beyond the benefits of traditional surveillance,” Digiop President Rich Mellott says.
