Digital Identification Solutions AG, a provider of identification solutions, has acquired vsp ID Systeme, one of Europe’s leading software manufacturers for ID applications. Vsp will become the seventh member of the globally operating Digital Identification Solutions (DIS) Group, which has its North American headquarters in Greenville S.C.
“Due to the projects which have been already implemented together and the long-term cooperation of both companies, it will be possible to integrate and expand much faster than if two strangers had joined forces,” says Gerd Schaefer, CEO of DIS.
The development, project management and solutions competence of vps is expected to complement the turnkey solutions of DIS, according to Schaefer.
“For us, the incorporation into [DIS] means the acceleration of our growth strategy,” says Jürgem Koenig, managing director of vps. “Under the umbrella of the [DIS] with its subsidiaries and support centers in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, China, Mexico and the United States, we will be able to support our current and future international customers and partners even better.”
