Bosch SecuritySystems of Fairport, N.Y., announces the Divar DigitalVersatile Recorder series, a compact, low profile unit that combinesdigital recording with multiplexing. The maintenance-free product wasdesigned for both operators and installers, and allows simultaneousrecording and playback, according to the company. The images per secondrecording rate and image quality are selectable for each connectedcamera, and have rates of 50 ips PAL or 60 ips NTSC, without the needfor synchronization.
The product is expandable with an optional keyboard, allowingAutoDome control as well as enhanced playback control. It supports upto 256 cameras and it fully compatible with any standard 10/100 Base-Tnetwork, according to the company.
