Elcor Int’l Inc. a New York-based distributor of security equipment acquired Supply Dog, an Internet marketer of security-based products. Charles Geschwind, president of Elcor, says, “The acquisition of Supply Dog will significantly strengthen our national marketing efforts. The fact that Supply Dog achieved such a high level of name recognition in a recent industry survey speaks well of their achievements.” He further commented “The financial strength of Elcor will enable Supply Dog to increase inventory levels and thereby provide customers with more timely shipments of orders.” Howard Geschwind, vice president of sales, added, “The addition of Supplydog.com to the already substantial Internet marketing activities of Elcor will certainly strengthen our presence on the web.” He went on to say, “There will be substantial benefits to supply dog customers, as they will now have enhanced customer service and technical support available from Elcor’s ‘brick and mortar’ solid foundation, while at the same time being offered additional product lines.”
