A new line of surge-protected video power supplies was recently released by Honeywell Power Products (HPP) of Northford, Conn. Models are designed to power either stationary or pan/tilt/zoom cameras and come in indoor as well as NEMA-rated weatherproof enclosures for outdoor applications.
Power output is 24VAC for standard applications and 28VAC for applications that require carrying camera power for longer distances. The additional 4VAC allows for voltage losses over long cable runs.
