Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), a privately held provider of intrusion, fire and access control products, has earned ISO 9001:2000 certification for the design and manufacture of components for central station monitoring systems.

The registration confirms that DMP has undergone a comprehensive assessment, and its processes and organization have met an international set of standards for quality and continuous improvement.

“The ISO 9001 certification says that we’re doing things right,” says Lee Scanlon, DMP’s director of quality. “We were confident that we had systems in place to ensure high quality in our design and manufacturing, but it’s gratifying when an outside auditor looks at our systems and confirms it.”

ISO 9000 is a family of standards. 9001 is the Quality Management System Standard maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). To earn the designation as an ISO 9001-certified manufacturer, DMP had to develop quality procedures covering all key business processes and demonstrate that all manufacturing processes are monitored to ensure quality product.
