Digital Monitoring Products Inc. (DMP) and Intivid Solutions, a Stanley Security company, announced a new interface utilizing both companies’ technology. The product provides Intivid’s “VIP” digital video system with alarm and other system events from DMP’s command processor panel through its serial connection.
The VIP system processes events and prioritizes video recording from Intivid’s video application. The interface also supports alarm video verification and virtual guard tour capabilities.
Because both companies service common customers, an integration of the two technologies was a logical step, the companies said.
DMP is a Springfield, Mo.-based manufacturer of alarm products.
Canada-based Intivid designs, manufactures and distributes digital video recording and monitoring technologies.
